Delete your Giiftii account
This page is provided by Giiftii Systems Inc. You can start an account-deletion request on the Giiftii website without installing or opening the mobile app.
How to request deletion
- Sign in to the Giiftii website account you want deleted.
- In Account Settings, choose “Delete Giiftii Account” and send the confirmation email request.
- Open the email sent to the account address and confirm deletion using its link.
Sending the request or receiving the email does not delete your account. Deletion starts only after you confirm by email. The confirmation step verifies control of the account email address.
Sign in and request account deletionIf you cannot access your account, email support@giiftii.com to request help. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Do not send your password or an account-confirmation link by email.
What is deleted and when
After you confirm, access to the account is blocked and the deletion process begins. Giiftii’s Privacy Policy states that personal information associated with a deleted account is deleted or de-identified within 30 days in active systems and within 90 days in backups.
The process applies to personal information associated with your account and use of the Services. Deleting the app from a device does not delete your account. The request is not complete merely because access has been disabled or a confirmation email was accepted; the data-erasure process must finish separately.
Information that may be retained
The Privacy Policy describes limited exceptions for information Giiftii is required or permitted by law to retain. This may include transaction, payment and tax records; records relating to unredeemed or outstanding gift value; information reasonably needed for fraud prevention and platform security; information subject to a legal hold or unresolved dispute or chargeback; and your communication preferences so Giiftii can continue to honor opt-outs. Retained information is not used for marketing or profiling.
